Although no previous experiences are required for signing up, it is important for all students to prepare themselves for challenges and countless practices. Being a nail artist takes a lot of skills, and there are always room to improve when it comes to techniques, so it is important for all students be committed to countless practices and ongoing learning.

Handouts are available for theory-based lessons. We also have study reports after each lessons that keeps track of the student’s progress, homework and key points from the lesson.

We don’t have a mandatory student kit nor we include any products in our class fees. Students are allowed to used products in the studio during lesson. However, students need to prepare the essential tools and materials, additionally choose suitable products according to student’s own situation. It is important to purchase the suitable product to keep the learning more cost-efficient. We also can provide help when it comes to choosing the right products.

[Basics] courses includes all the fundamentals of gel manicure. Such as nail anatomy and nail care, gel nail overlay, different removal methods of gel nails, complete salon process of manicure service, basic colour theory for nail artists, and more. This is the course to help you build a solid foundation for performing salon level of manicure services, and it is essential to nail down the basics before any further advanced trainings.

[Nail Arts] We proud ourselves for having a huge selections of nail art lessons. You can choose according to the style/technique you are interested in. We make sure our lessons are constantly updated by incorporating the latest nail trends in our nail art lessons. We also make sure we teach the concepts and techniques of each style instead of teaching designs as we believe learning the concept is crucial to actually understanding how to create nail arts in certain styles.

[Advanced] courses includes 3D nails and different extension methods. It is required to finish the [Basics] courses before signing up for the advanced courses as the fundamental knowledges are the key to success of [advanced] courses.

Many nail artists started doing nails without any experiences in drawing/painting including myself. However, it is important to keep learning and practice hard. Being a nail artist is not just about colour theory and painting, there are many other techniques. Anyone can learn to do nails, keep on practicing is the key to success.

After successfully signing up for lessons, you will receive a booklet that includes information on how/where to purchase professional nail products.

Yes. It is required to sign up for lessons according to the existing order we have on our syllabus, as each lessons are designed to connect with one another for the best learning result. For students who have previous experiences but wants to improve, we recommend signing up for the “One-Day Correct and Improve” lesson as it is specifically created for troubleshooting and correcting mistakes.

We recommend our students to only purchase the essential products in the beginning to bring to class, and we also only recommend safe products. It is up to students afterward to decide what types of products to purchase as everyone has different preferences and budgets, there are many nail brands available for different needs.
